History since 1996
I have owned "The Moggy" since 1996, the original idea was for me to use it for my short commute to work in Lincoln, I used it only a few times
before deciding that it was too good to use for everyday use and bought another "normal car" for getting to and from work.
The Morris has taken pride of place in the garage ever since and now it is time to allow someone else to enjoy owning this great little car as much as I have over the years.
Overall condition is good, the bodywork is sound and as expected on a car of this age, the original paintwork is showing some signs of ageing.
Everything is original except for the fog lights, steel sun visor and the matching headlamp peaks, these can easily be removed if you don't happen to like them.
Wheels & Tyres
The Moggy is fitted with four brand new radial tyres on original 14 inch steel rims with original polished hub caps.
Many new Parts Fitted
I have spent a considerable amount of money on parts to ensure that the new owner will be safe when the Morris takes to the road again.
There are small areas that have been welded, I will point those out to anyone who wishes to view, the welded areas are painted and are not hidden with underseal so no surprises for anyone.
Parts recently fitted and as yet like the new tyres have done zero miles, New Battery, New Suspension Uprights, New trunnions, New bushes, New track rod ends, New Rack gaiters, New slave cylinders all round, New Hand Brake Cables, New brake shoes all round.
Some additional new and some used spare parts can be included in the sale by mutual agreement.
